"It was time to shorten," says Petra Weber, who finally needs a break after three decades full of stress and work. Despite intensive attempts to sell, she found no buyer for the entire ice cream parlor. Only a few devices could be sold. "It is a shame that the takeover did not work so easily," she regrets. The closure of the Piccino is not only a loss for lovers of ice and pizza, but also increases the vacancy in the Beetzsee Center.

Kaufland is looking for a subsequent tenant!

With that from the ice cream parlor, the search for a new tenant for the 80 square meter area becomes more urgent. Kaufland plans to open a new supermarket in the Beetzsee Center next year and is already looking for a successor for the Piccino. "For the re -occupancy of the area, for example, we imagine renting a café or ice cream parlor," explains project manager Simone Dobbertin. Talks with several interested parties are already underway, and the rooms could be handed over in December.
