Inclusion in the focus: Starts action week for people with disabilities!

A nationwide action week from November 25th to December 3th puts the talents of people with disabilities in the spotlight! In Barnim and Uckermark, over 600 severely disabled people are unemployed, including many highly qualified specialists. Constanze Hildebrandt, the head of the Eberswalde employment agency, draws attention to this alarming situation and urgently demands changes!

The week is full filled with exciting events! A applicant day in the Ahorn-Hotel Templin, an employer breakfast with a job exchange on December 3 in the Paul-Wunderlich-Haus in Eberswalde and an Advent bazaar on November 28th in the professional information center in Eberswalde. Here regional workshops present their handmade Christmas products and show what people with disabilities can do!

opportunities for inclusion and new employment relationships

The goal of this action week is clear: Employers and job seekers should be brought together to create real opportunities for inclusion and new employment relationships. This initiative could be the key to developing the potential of many talented people and offering them a perspective. It is time to dismantle barriers and recognize the strengths of people with disabilities!
