These dangerous conditions already led to many accidents in Brandenburg on Tuesday, in which sheet metal damage and several injuries were mostly recorded. The West Police Directorate reported almost 60 accidents since 5 a.m., while the management in southern Brandenburg registered almost 40 accidents between midnight and Tuesday morning. The police appealed to drivers to reduce the pace and keep sufficient distance and to completely free the vehicle panes from snow and ice.
