Fatal factory accident on the A2: 28-year-old dies in collision!
On the night of Sunday, a tragic accident occurred on Autobahn 2 near Hanover, in which a 28-year-old driver lost his life. According to the initial investigations by the police, a 20-year-old BMW driver lost control of his vehicle at around 1:20 a.m. He crashed into the guardrail, his car stopped on the right and medium lanes, but the driver was unharmed. The driver of a subsequent truck, a 44-year-old man, immediately initiated security measures and discontinued his vehicle with the warning indicator system switched on to secure BMW in front of the crossing BMW, such as the Kreiszeitung reported.
About ten minutes later, the 28-year-old approached the scene of the accident. Without braking, he raced into the standing truck vehicle at high speed. The impact was so violent that the car was pressed two thirds under the trailer and was completely destroyed. Despite the immediate help of the rescue workers, the driver could only be recovered dead from the wreck. No other people were injured, but the considerable property damage is estimated at around 24,000 euros. Due to the rescue work, the A2 was closed to Berlin until shortly after 8:00 a.m. reported.
