Lantern festival inspires families: a radiant move in the Francke Park!

Franckepark, Deutschland - On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, the district central library "Eva-Maria-Buch-Haus" experienced a radiant festival that made the hearts of families beat faster! The third lantern festival attracted almost 250 enthusiastic participants who broke down into the Francke Park with a lantern story after a captivating picture book cinema. The children and parents moved through the park singing and cheerfully, while the talented students of the music school "Leo Kestenberg" with their wind instruments provided a festive atmosphere.

The radiant lanterns that the children had created the day before when tinkering in the library were the absolute highlight of the evening! Her colorful lights illuminated the way and created a magical mood. In order to ensure the security of everyone and ensure that nobody was lost in the dark, two police officers from neighboring section 44 were on hand and accompanied the cheerful move through Götzstrasse. An unforgettable experience for young and old that brought together the community!
