Desired tree campaign 2024: Fulfill children's dreams in Steglitz-Zehlendorf!

Kirchstraße 1/3, 14169 Berlin, Deutschland - A radiant light of hope enlightens Steglitz-Zehlendorf! For the seventh time, the district transforms the pre-Christmas period into a festival of joy with the popular desired tree campaign of the association "Give a smile". Citizens are invited to become part of this heart -warming tradition and to meet children's wishes.

The ceremonial opening will take place on November 28, 2024 at 4 p.m. in the Zehlendorf town hall, Kirchstrasse 1/3. District Mayor Maren Schellenberg will give the starting signal. On November 29, 2024 at 3 p.m., the opening in the town hall of Steglitz, Schloßstraße 37, will follow by deputy district mayor Cerstin Richter-Kotowski. Be there and experience the magic of the desired tree campaign!

Fulfill child requests!

From November 28th to December 12th, 2024, you have the opportunity to pick a desired star and to meet a child's heart's desire. The gifts that have a value of up to € 25 must be handed over unpacked by December 12, 2024. Where? Very easy:

• in the town hall of Zehlendorf at the gatekeeper or in the press office, room A144.
• in the Steglitz town hall at the gatekeeper or in room 205.

This ensures that the gifts can be packed in good time and handed over to the facilities before Christmas. The desired trees in the town halls of Zehlendorf and Steglitz are regularly equipped with new desires so that many children in the region can experience an unforgettable Christmas.
