Refurbishment of the Paul-Schwarz-promenade: away for € 150,000 will be renewed!
Paul-Schwarz-Promenade, 12169 Berlin, Deutschland - The Paul Schwarz-Promenade in Steglitz will be extensively renovated from today, November 4th, 200th! The users of the popular path were informed in advance by notification. The renovation concerns the 440 meter of the badly damaged path, which extends from the stairs on Krahmerstrasse to the helicopter landing site of the Charité hospital. The quality of the path is significantly improved with a water -bound path blanket. The cost of the 1,700 m² area amounts to around € 150,000, which are covered by a special program of the Senate Administration.
The construction work is expected to take about two months, so that the renovation should be completed this year. Finally the annoying potholes and puddles, especially in the rainy season! The renovation not only includes the demolition of the old, damaged path, but also a comprehensive core renovation that promises a significant improvement in the quality of path for all users.
Important information on use
Attention: During the construction work there are temporary restrictions on use! The path is temporarily locked and getting through is not possible. Cycling and foot traffic must adapt to temporary diversions, which are well signposted on site. We thank you for your understanding and patience during this important renovation measure!
