New swing for Spand Exception: Bicycle relay with e-bikes starts!

Carl-Schurz-Str. 2/6, 13597 Berlin, Deutschland - In Spandau, three e-bikes can now be used to improve the accessibility of certain locations. The regulatory office has set up a bicycle relay that enables employees to be traveling faster and more flexibly in the district.

The new initiative is particularly important because many areas such as parks cannot be driven by car for environmental protection reasons. In the past, this led to the order office employee often had to find a parking space before they could reach their goal. Tanja Franzke, the district councilor for youth, health and provisional for order, explains: "With the new e-bikes, our bicycle relay comes to the scene much quickly. Suspicious people can also be better followed." This is a further step towards promoting order and cleanliness in Spandau.

Another step to improve mobile control

The use of e-bikes will not only increase the reaction speed of the law enforcement officers, but also offer the possibility of increasingly checking public areas. The mobile use of e-bikes is expected to increase the visibility of the employees of the regulatory office. This could rightly have a deterrent effect on potentially disturbing behavior.

The wheel relay is now on the road in the entire Spandau district. The new e-bikes are not only environmentally friendly, but also help to ensure that the law enforcement officers are able to react faster to reports and concerns of the citizens. The example of Spandau could possibly also encourage other districts to take similar measures and to switch their own emergency services to more environmentally friendly mobility solutions.
