This meant that the employees often had to look for a parking space and often had to cover a longer footpath to get to their locations. Thanks to the new e-bikes, this will change. The employees can now cycle directly to the locations and therefore have a more effective way to perform their tasks.

Why e-bikes for the regulatory office?

The decision to purchase e-bikes was made in order to pursue suspects faster and to be able to tackle problems more effectively. Tanja Franzke mentioned the practical benefits that these new means of transportation bring with it: "With the e-bikes we can react faster and achieve the locations more efficiently," she said. This should be particularly advantageous in time -critical situations if quick action is necessary.
