The kebab prices have experienced a steep increase in recent years, and now there is finally an answer to the Berliners' worries: a kebab for just one cent! Doner master Ömer Tas (25) explains: "We want to convince people with the price of our quality and set an example in Neukölln. The competition here is hard." But why just a cent? "We have to take a price for this. Otherwise we get trouble with the tax office," he adds.

For this unique campaign, an impressive 200 kilogram spit from beef hack was purchased, which ranges for up to 800 kebabs and costs a proud 1800 euros. There are also a chicken and a Yaprakspieß, weighing 100 kilograms each. "We distribute our Lahmacun to the people in line outside so that they have something warm in the stomach," explains Tas. The anticipation for the kebab is huge!

And how does the 1 cent doner taste? Tatjana Chub (21) raves: "The sauces taste great and the chicken meat is nice and crispy. I would buy a doner again for more money." Your secret sauces combination: herbal-sharp. Yasmin M. (26) is patient for her kebab and is ready to wait up to 35 minutes. "I ran by by chance and was hungry.
