Gotthilf Fischer, who died in 2020 at the age of 92, is appreciated for his lifelong music career and his commitment. Their remembers the numerous projects that he carried out together with Fischer. Farewell to the conductor

The 20th Höfles concert took place in a further remarkable development, in which Gotthilf Fischer was adopted as a conductor after 59 years. The men's choir of Concordia Schmiden honored him with his favorite song "Peace". A total of 120 singers and 300 guests took part in this special occasion. Fischer encouraged the audience to sing along and gave the effort for several songs. He was honored with various awards for his commitment, including the urban honor badge, which was presented to him by Mayor Gabriele Zull.

Horst Brack, chairman of the Concordia Singing Association, praised Fischer's numerous trips and appearances. In his speech, Fischer expressed the valuable advice that life was short and encouraged people to approach each other. The male choir will continue to exist, while the Concordia will offer open singing from mid -September. Kai Müller took over the Fischer conductor two years ago, and the new conductor of the rock and pop choir, Damir Brajlovic, gave his debut during the concert.
