Metal robbery in the Rottweil district: Process shows bizarre thieves!
In the current trial before the Rottweil district court, four men are accused of being part of a gang of thieves who stole metal worth several million euros. According to the indictment, the perpetrators committed numerous break -ins into companies in the Tuttlingen area and beyond, not even knew the value of their prey. During the negotiations, the accused reported on memory gaps regarding their actions. In total, the men are accused of 20 burglaries, in which they penetrated into the buildings by cut walls and fitted windows. The investigators tracked down the perpetrators in particular through shoe prints, DNA traces and surveillance recordings. Particularly striking: they lived in precarious conditions in a completely neglected apartment in Gelsenkirchen when they were arrested and showed themselves to be attended during the arrest, like reported.
At the same time, a trial in Berlin runs against five men who committed a robbery -like slump into versage in November 2022 and stole luxury watches and securities worth around 49 million euros. The perpetrators broke up in the vaults of an internationally active watch dealer, while the time expired. They acted with high professionalism, including fake emails, to trick security measures. The prey remains disappeared to this day, and there is also a managing director among the accused who enabled access to the vaults. A defendant plans to testify as a key witness, which could give the investigation into new impulses, such as rbb24 reported.Details | |
