New residential construction project in Kaulsdorf: Renting starts now!

In Kaulsdorfer Bodo-Uhse-Straße, the rental of 153 apartments began. This new residential complex, which was built by the city and country, offers a variety of one to five room apartments that should be ready for occupancy by the end of this year. Interestments can now apply for the apartments in Marzahn-Hellersdorf, such as the local newspaper The Hellersdorfer reported.

The residential complex consists of two six -storey buildings, which also have a relay floor. Over half of the 153 apartments are barrier -free, and four apartments are specially designed for wheelchair users. The elevators reach all floors, including the basement, in which practical storage rooms for walkers, strollers and bicycles are housed. The outdoor facilities include green spaces and a playground, while a doctor's office is planned on the ground floor.

Special features of the new apartments

Every apartment offers amenities such as terraces or balconies as well as open kitchens and underfloor heating, which contributes to a modern feeling of living. Depending on the apartment, the bathrooms are equipped with shower or bathtub. About 50% of the apartments are built with public funding and are aimed at tenants with a residential authorization certificate (WBS), which enables access to cheaper rental conditions.

The project is located in the red district of Kaulsdorf, only about ten minutes on foot from the cable car station and Kienberg. Shops as well as cafes and restaurants can be found in the nearby Spree Center and at Cecilienplatz. For students, the Alice Salomon University can be reached in about 15 minutes with the U5 subway line. The infrastructure in the area will continue to be expanded, including the construction of a new high school in Erich-Kästner-Straße and the reopening of a primary school on Carola-Neher-Straße. In addition, the construction of an integrated secondary school in Auerbacher Ring is planned.

The combination of modern living space, accessibility and proximity to numerous amenities makes the new apartments particularly attractive.
