Truck accident in Stuttgart: The tipper gets stuck under the bridge!

Stuttgart-Stammheim, Deutschland - Stuttgart-Stammheim (ots) -A dramatic incident caused massive traffic disruptions in the area of Landstraße 1110 between Stuttgart-Stammheim and Möglingen on Monday morning (18.11.2024). At 9:30 a.m., a 68-year-old driver of a Volvo truck got into a dangerous situation that brought the entire area to a standstill. The driver had apparently forgot to lower his three -way tipper before starting driving. And so it came as it had to come: the trailer got stuck under a bridge, while the truck itself only came to a standstill after a good 300 meters. What a chaos!

The police were quickly on hand to secure the scene of the accident and to control the situation. As a result, both the L1110 at the level of Emerhol and the road at the container station were closed. A huge commitment that not only presented the driver, but also numerous other road users with challenges. The amount of damage remains unclear to date, but one thing is certain: this incident has turned the traffic situation upside down in the region!
