Inter -municipal cooperation: Mulda blocks important decision!

An unexpected setback for inter -municipal cooperation! The municipal council of Mulda surprisingly rejected the accession to the planned community association "Middle Saxon Ore Mountains" yesterday. What was considered a matter of form ended in a scandal!

nine municipalities from the Freiberger region, including Dorfchemnitz, Frauenstein, Großhartmannsdorf, Lichtenberg, Neuhausen, Rechenberg-Bienenmühle, Sayda and Weißenborn, had agreed on a collaboration to better bundle their resources and work more efficiently. But Mulda, which is not only geographically, but also strategically important, let the others down!

The reason for the cancellation

The rejection not only came as a surprise, but also raises questions: What are the motives of the municipal council of Mulda? While the other communities rely on joint development and progress, Mulda hesitates to join this future -oriented initiative. The decision could have far -reaching consequences for working in the region!

The planned merger could have brought numerous advantages, including a better distribution of resources and strengthening regional identity. Now the question arises: will Mulda rethink his decision and give regional progress a chance, or does the community remain on its own way?
