Innovative tiltster: Neukölln fights against cigarette butts!
In the popular Neuköllner Kiezgarten at Donaustraße 8, an innovative project will be launched on Wednesday, December 18: a tiltster, a ashtray with a unique voting function. This invention is intended to encourage smokers not to simply throw their cigarette butts on the floor, but to dispose of them properly. As the Berliner Zeitung Coordinate everyday questions, such as "Schawarma or Falafel?" or "Hertha BSC or Union Berlin?". This playful form of the survey is intended to raise awareness of environmental protection.
inauguration with resident participation
The inauguration of the tiltster begins on Wednesday at 3 p.m., and all residents are cordially invited to take part and actively contribute to the cleanliness of the neighborhood garden. Here you can not only help to free the garden from cigarette stubs, but also take part in the first vote that is made possible by your disposal. This project is financed by the campaign fund of the Donaustraße Nord district management, which shows how local initiatives can contribute to improving the cityscape. More information about this exciting project can be found on the website of the Quartersmanagement Donaustraße Nord .
