Influencer arrested: fireworks rocket caused excitement in Neukölln!

On January 4, 2025, a 23-year-old influencer at Berlin Brandenburg (BER) Airport was arrested after being suspected of shooting an apartment in Berlin-Neukölln on New Year's Eve. The federal police arrested him in the attempt to leave the country as part of the search measures of the State Criminal Police Office.

In an Instagram video, the influencer lit, identified as Atallah Younes, a fireworks rocket and focused on an apartment building. The rocket flew through a window and exploded inside the apartment, with furniture being damaged in the bedroom of a 33-year-old apartment owner. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the police were investigating the incident due to attempted serious arson.

A judge at the Tiergarten district court will decide on next Sunday whether an arrest warrant will be issued against Younes. The police are currently checking the legal steps against him, since the issue of an arrest warrant for serious arson is in prospect.
