In a dramatic turn, the carnival guild Rottach 97 in Kempten had to cancel the traditional carnival parade planned for March 1st. The reason was the high security requirements that the city of Kempten asked for at short notice. President Kevin Loibl said: "We cannot implement this at short notice with so few people. So unfortunately we have to cancel the move."
