Ten years ago,Plettenberg became the starting point of an important journey for the graduates of the Albert Schweitzer-Gymnasium. At this place, these young people received their high school diploma and went into a new phase of life with hope. Now, a decade later, some of the former students met for the first official step meeting. Many come from different cities such as Vienna, Berlin and Cologne to exchange memories and reflect on the past time.
The meeting was organizedby a team consisting of Henning Brode, Katharina Löser, Maxi Menzebach, Lea Teuber and Laura Gördes, the 112 former contact. Over half of those invited did not miss the opportunity to visit the hometown. The evening began with a relaxed champagne reception, the proceeds of which were also intended for the school's support association. A special gesture: The graduates were allowed to take their abiking lauss home, which certainly aroused nostalgic feelings.
celebrations in the Gasthof zur Post
After the reception, we continued to the inn Zum Post in Ohle, where the celebration lasted until the early hours of the morning. Old Abita cubes were flipped through and ensured that those present to reminds them in memories of their school days. Favorite songs from their school days accompanied the cheerful atmosphere while laughing and exchanging stories.
A special highlight of the evening was the appearance of Markus Vollmerhaus, the then step ladder. He was so enthusiastic about the successful event that he suggested the idea of a regular meeting every two years. This would make it easier for the alumni to come together in the future, without having a unique lack of a major impact on participation.
There were also some teachers among those present, including Anne Nguyen, Corinna Schauerte, Hendrik Mendel and Svenja Stunz. Her presence contributed to the warm atmosphere of the evening, and a lot was chatted and laughed. Nicolas Lochmann, a new teacher, was also present. Although he had no personal memories of the graduates, the evening also tended to be a positive direction for him.Overall, it was a successful meeting that not only revived old memories, but also created the basis for future gatherings. The alumni who had traveled from different locations quickly found themselves in the familiar surroundings that she shaped a decade ago. In view of the numerous positive feedback, it is clear that this meeting was only the beginning of a new chapter in the life of the high school diploma in 2014, such as localdirekt.de reported.
