Berlin's new drip bars: health trend or more expensive nonsense?
Berlin, Deutschland - in Berlin a new trend sprouts - and it causes plenty of excitement! The city, known for its lust for innovation in fashion and lifestyle, now has the so-called Drip bars on offer. But instead of chic cocktails, infusions are worked here that are served directly from a bag - if you come to medical treatment!
The drinks offered in these bars consist of amino acids and B vitamins instead of vodka or gin. The highlight? You can treat yourself to a "beauty booster" for a whopping 259 euros during the lunch break, right next to a needle! But the health experts are alarmed. Nutritionist Daniela Kielkowski comments on "RBB 24": "There is hardly any data for the infusions. Everything that is given through the infusion can be covered completely healthy by a small food part."
criticism beats waves
The response is clear: many Berliners are horrified! On social media, the trend is described as "irresponsible", and a commentator gets to the point: "To be chatted without medical advice should be forbidden." Sharp allegations are raised against the providers who suggest that these infusions could be a panacea. While health experts warn of rash decisions, others wonder if it would not be better to get well in a natural way and just step shorter.
