Berlin helps! Warm jackets for the needy - a fundraiser starts now!

In the pulsating capital Berlin, the situation is serious: the cold has a firm grip on the city, and while most of us wrap themselves in warm jackets, there are many who don't even have the bare essentials. The “Wrapup” initiative urgently calls for winter jackets! This great action runs from November 5th to 7th, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., at Washingtonplatz at the main train station. Here volunteers can hand in their warm jackets and coats - and that is bitterly necessary!

The temperatures are falling, and for many homeless people and the needy in Berlin, the cold becomes a life -threatening challenge. "Many people in Berlin do not have their own apartment, some don't even have a warm jacket in which they can cuddle up in wind and weather," warns the Berlin city mission, which together with organizations such as Moabit helps behind this important fundraiser. Time is pushing and a significant need for warm clothing is seen. The stalls for the jacket collection are marked with striking blue-red flags and are waiting for generous donors!
