Berliners pay less: Thuringian fight with the highest fuel prices!

Berlin, Deutschland - Munich (ots)

A look at the German fuel prices reveals shocking differences: In the capital Berlin, drivers can enjoy the cheapest prizes, while their colleagues in Thuringia have the highest price screw for fuels! According to the latest evaluation of the ADAC, the price differences for Super E10 and diesel between the federal states are up to 5.4 cents - and that has not been unnoticed! In Berlin, one liter of Super E10 only costs 1.612 euros, while Thuringia forms the bottom of the light with a whopping 1.664 euros.

But it doesn't just stay with the gasoline prices! The Berlin drivers also show themselves as bargain hunters in diesel: here the liter costs an average of 1.543 euros, while in Thuringia 1.597 euros are due. This makes it clear that the prices in the different federal states are in a constant up and down and there are always new rankings- nothing is fixed!

changes in price ranking

Surprisingly, the price markings have changed a lot compared to the previous month! Where the Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate were still on the list of the cheapest federal states, they have now found themselves in the upper third. Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania were the most expensive in the last evaluation, but can now be found in the solid midfield. The market remains unpredictable!

The ADAC advises drivers nationwide to compare prices before refueling. The practical fuel price app "ADAC Drive" can help, which shows the prices at over 14,000 petrol stations in Germany in real time. A price comparison in particular in the most expensive regions can be more than worthwhile! If you have to pay attention to the budget, better tank in the evening than in the morning - a little tip that could bring big savings!

For the current investigation, the ADAC used prices of over 14,000 petrol stations from the market transparency center for fuels. The data depicts a snapshot on November 12, 11 a.m. Current developments and detailed information on the fuel market can be found at www.adac.de/tanken.
