Russia's attacks: Ukraine is fighting for hours of power!

Ukraine - Ukraine is facing a dark time! After a devastating attack by Russia on the energy infrastructure, citizens have to adapt to massive power failures. The network operator Ukrenerho has announced hours of power barriers nationwide for Monday. Between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. (5:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. CET), the electricity is switched off twice for a long time. The people in Ukraine have to be prepared for these restrictions in cold November!

The reason for these drastic measures is the considerable damage to the energy systems caused by the Russian attack. Citizens are urgently asked not to use several powerful electrical appliances at the same time so as not to add further a strain on the already weakened power grid. Whether there will also be further power blocks in the following days remains uncertain.

In the morning of the attack, Russia used a combination of drones, rockets and marching aircraft, with targeted energy systems being targeted. Tragically there were dead and injuries in several regions, and according to the Energy Ministry in Kiev, two Ukrenerho employees also lost their lives. The situation is tense and the population is in great concern for their own security and those of their families.
