Spark plug theft: five men arrested after searching!

A spectacular theft has excited the police! On October 16, a valuable robbery was carried out in a biogas plant in Mallersdorf-Pfaffenberg: around 35 spark plugs with a total value of around 18,000 euros were stolen. But the perpetrators didn't enjoy their prey for long! Thanks to a lightning -fast search, the investigators were able to strike in the Hof district on the same day.

In a traffic control, the officers came across two vehicles with Polish approval that were suspicious. They found the stolen spark plugs in several buckets! The five inmates, men between the ages of 20 and 40, were immediately arrested. The police suspected that the group is not only responsible for this theft, but may also be involved in further property offenses.

The arrested were brought in front of the Regensburg District Court the following day, where the public prosecutor requested arrest warrants. These have been approved and the men are now in a correctional facility. The Straubing Criminal Police Inspection continues, especially with regard to the suspicion of the band theft. The hunt for further possible accomplices and the education of further crimes continue!
