Magdalena Kaiser triumphs: The country women kitchen has a winner!

A culinary triumph in Middle Franconia! Magdalena Kaiser left the competition behind at the grand finale of the “country women's kitchen” in 2024 and secured the title. League chef Lucki Maurer, who announced the results on Monday, November 18, invited all seven rural women in his “Stoi” in the Straubing-Bogen district to look back on an unforgettable summer.

The tension was tangible when the country women presented their menus. Magdalena Kaiser shone with her "mini-grill cheese burger" in the "Best Starting" category and also convinced with the "two-way Camembert" as a main course. But the Upper Palatinate Sandra Grundner stole the show in the "Best Discourse" category with her seductive "apple roses with homemade lavender vanilla ice cream". The decision was not easy, because the country women rated the 3-course menus of their fellow campaigners themselves.

an unforgettable final

The grand finale took place in Lower Bavaria, where the seven country women who became close friends over the summer were cooked by Lucki Maurer and his team. On this day there was no cooking on the program, but a lot of laughter and joy. Lucki Maurer took the winning dishes and reinterpreted the three courses, which caused additional tension. The country women were already planning their next meeting - this time without cameras, but with the "eighth country woman".
