Halloween chaos in Lower Bavaria: 330 missions and a burning carport!

Bahnhofstraße, 94315 Straubing, Deutschland - On the scary evening of the year, Halloween, chaos broke out in Lower Bavaria! The police were called to an incredible 330 missions! From physical injuries to property damage to rest disturbances - the officials had their hands full. Around 60 of these missions were directly related to the Halloween celebrations, as the police headquarters reported.

In detail, there were nine bodily harm in which ten people were slightly injured. The night was characterized by around 40 rest disorders and 13 property damage, which left a total damage of more than 13,000 euros. But that wasn't all! The police also had to deploy 40 traffic accidents, in which six people were also slightly injured. Here the estimated damage added up to alarming 135,000 euros!

The night took a dramatic turn when a carport on Bahnhofstrasse opened in flames at around 0.40 a.m. in Straubing! The heat of the fire even damaged the facade of an adjacent apartment building. The police estimate the damage to a lower six -figure amount, but luckily there were no injuries. The fire brigade bravely fought the flames and prevented the fire from spreading further. During the extinguishing work, Bahnhofstrasse had to be closed for one and a half hours. The Straubing criminal police have started the cause of the fire.
