The concept of sensitivity

The concept that is treated during the project week comes from the renowned American attachment researcher Mary Ainsworth. Delicate sensitivity describes the empathetic behavior of caregivers, which is crucial for the development of a secure bond. This was underpinned by the work of John Bowlby, who founded and performed the bond theory in the 1950s how important a reliable binding person is for the emotional security of a child.

sensitive interactions are decisive for the promotion of social-emotional skills such as emotion regulation and conflict coping. On the information evenings, the speakers of the IFP Bayern will convey the basics of binding, development and needs of children. Registrations can be made at the e-mail address koki@landkreis-straubing-bogen.de. The contact for the event series are Marina Luginger and Evelyn Jurgasch.

For detailed information about the theoretical foundations of binding theory, which form the foundation for such projects, the article can be consulted on Kindergarten Education

The project week in Straubing-Bogen thus offers a valuable opportunity for parents and specialists to deal more intensively with the essential topic of sensitivity and the associated binding aspects.
