New wind in the BWE Starnberg: Nikolaus Lorenz takes over the chair!

Starnberg, Deutschland - A historical change has taken place in the Bavarian Housing and Owner Association (BWE) in the Starnberg district! After an unbelievable 45 years at the top, Hubertus Höck, who has been chairman since the founding of the district association in 1979, has been handed over to Nikolaus Lorenz. The 79-year-old, who is now withdrawing, said: "It just needs young people with new ideas." A clear call for renewal!

The general meeting in the Starnberger Schlossberghalle was the scene of this important moment. Höck looked back proudly on the successes of the association, which despite the Corona pandemic has remained stable for around 400 members. "We are driving digitization ahead," he emphasized, while important information is now being sent more by email to reduce paper consumption. A step into the future!

The new board of directors

The 28 members present unanimously elected Nikolaus Lorenz as the new chairman. The 56-year-old lawyer is no stranger to the association and most recently worked as secretary. Julian Fürstenberg remains at his side as the 2nd chairman, while Stefanie Rathei-Ruth acts as treasurer. The architect Hans Wechner, whose father was co -founder of the BWE Starnberg, is new on the board. Lorenz was grateful for the trust and emphasized that he would like to continue the successful work of Höck. "I am sure that the new impetus on the board will do everyone good," said Höck and remains the members as a consultant. A new chapter begins!
