On Sunday, December 8th, the “Bodenwöhrer Christmas magic at the Hammersee” will be celebrated for the eighth time! This magical Christmas market, which was launched in 2015 on the initiative of the then 15-year-old Carina Hoffmann, has developed into a real highlight. The picturesque location directly on the Hammersee, with a view to the glittering water, takes off this market from others and attracts more visitors every year.

at 2:00 p.m. the "Two Bro Band Ohrange" opens with a festive concert that offers a mixture of Christmas classics and own songs. Visitors can look forward to a wide range of decorative and gifts, handicrafts and delicious dishes: from pizza to tarte flambee to game specialties and warm drinks such as mulled wine and punch. A special highlight is Santa Claus, which is expected at 4:00 p.m. and distributes gifts to the children.

Another exciting element is the "Sulzbachtaler Nikolausbockerl", a historic red rail bus that commutes between Blechhammer, Autohaus Kraus and Sulzmühl. The departure times are at 12:00, 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. from Blechhammer, and the return trip from Sulzmühl takes place at the same time. For only EUR 3 per ticket, the adults can ride while children travel free of charge. Tickets are in the tourist office or directly on December 8th. Available.
