World record over the clouds: Slackline between hot air balloons in Rosenheim!
A breathtaking spectacle about Rosenheim: On Saturday afternoon, November 9, two brave men dared to do the impossible and ensured a world record that will go into the history books! Friedi Kühne from Bad Aibling and Lukas Irmler from Miesbach balanced on a 19 -meter -long slackline, which was stretched between two hot air balloons at dizzying 2500 meters. The scenery that amazed many onlookers was not an accident, but the result of months of planning and hard work.
The two professionals, supported by Jochen Schweizer, broke a Brazilian record with their daring stunt and thus set new standards in slacklining. "We wanted to set up a new world-altitude record," said Kühne, who has already set up numerous records worldwide. But preparations were anything but easy. "I've been on the slackline for 14 years, but I've never had so much air under me," the 35-year-old admitted. Despite adverse weather conditions and an unexpected wind that put the balloons into a rotation, the two could not be stopped.
an emotional adventure
The moment when the Kühne and Irmler finally crossed the slackline was not only a triumph, but also an emotional experience. "When we both made it, our two friends even rose briefly onto the rope," said Kühne. The spontaneous campaign ensured additional adrenaline thickness and made the experience unforgettable. Despite the challenges that the team had to master, the world record was ultimately a complete success. "Now at the moment, but the experience shows: After the world record is before the world record," Kühne concluded after his spectacular stunt. A new record that has redefined the limits of the possible!
