Stau-alarm on the A93: truck block handling ensures chaos!
A dramatic traffic chaos developed on Wednesday morning (October 29) on the Inntal Autobahn A12 when a breakdown truck brought the situation to over cooking! At 9:50 a.m., the Tyrolean authorities immediately took measures to regulate the traffic towards Innsbruck. The block handling was introduced at the Kufstein north exit, and only 100 trucks per hour were allowed to happen. A real nightmare for the drivers!
The episodes were devastating: the backlog expanded to Alt-KM 20, which corresponded to an almost endless length of about 5 km! The patience of the travelers was put to the test while waiting for a solution. But the Rosenheim traffic inspection was quickly on hand to defuse the situation and to keep the effects on private transport as low as possible.
finally relaxation!
Around 10:50 a.m., after intensive efforts, the Tyrol state transport department reported the end of the dosage measures. The relief was noticeable when the traffic jams completely dissolved at around 11:30 a.m. Another time it became clear how quickly the traffic in the Alpine regions can change through unforeseen breakdowns. The volunteers' emergency services did a great job to tame the chaos!
