Rosenheim receives 8.3 million euros for new St. Martin nursing home!
A huge boost for care in Rosenheim! The St. Martin nursing home receives an incredible 8.3 million euros from the "Care in the Social Number" funding program. This massive sum is used for the urgently needed new construction, which not only replaces the existing structures, but should also significantly increase the number of nursing places. A real ray of hope for the region!
The member of the state parliament Daniel Artmann was enthusiastic about the funding commitment of the Bavarian Minister of Health Judith Gerlach. "I am extremely pleased that the urgently needed replacement construction of the Caritas-Altenheims St. Martin in Rosenheim is funded by the Free State with over 8.3 million euros," said Artmann. Two new buildings are planned, which will create a total of 126 nursing homes as well as two short-term and 24 day care places. This initiative aims to relieve the caring relatives who usually look after their loved ones at home.
new building for the future of care
The new building is realized in several construction phases and is intended to replace the old facility. This is made possible by the funding program "Care in the Social Number of Nursing), which is intended to strengthen the stationary and domestic care on site. The state funds enable not only to create short-term and day care places, but also from permanent care places and outpatient shared apartment communities. By 2028, a total of 8,000 nursing places in Bavaria are planned, which are to be funded by this program. A real progress for the care infrastructure!
