Chaos in Salingarten: Ignore alcohol ban, brawls are piling up!
In the Salingarten in Rosenheim it bubbles! Again and again there are massive violations of the ban on alcohol, and the police have already reimbursed 160 ads - a dramatic increase compared to the 50 lessons less in the previous year. The situation escalates as people gather there to drink, celebrate and sometimes fight. The authorities face a challenge, because the inhibition threshold sinks and aggressiveness increases.
An example of the tense situation: A 31-year-old recently started police officers who wanted to control him for suspected drugs. "He was extremely aggressive," reports chief commissioner Robert Maurer. Such incidents are no longer uncommon. The police warn that most of the conflicts end in physical arguments, often under the influence of alcohol. A dispute between a 34-year-old and a 25-year-old resulted in a fight in which both involved were injured and had a breath alcohol value of around two per thousand.
alcohol ban and its consequences
The alcohol ban in the Salingarten, as in all green areas of the city, is ignored by many. Michael B., a regular visitor, criticizes the ban as senseless and has already received several advertisements. "I haven't received a fine yet, luckily," he laughs as he collects his beer bottles. But the city administration remains vague when it comes to punishing the violations. There are rumors that many ads are time -barred and hardly any fines are imposed.
The perceived security in the Saling species suffers from these circumstances. Christian Baab, spokesman for the city, admits that the quality of stay and the feeling of security of the citizens are affected. Despite the planned measures to upgrade the salingart, including a new children's playground, it remains to be seen whether the situation will actually improve. The police and the city are under pressure to regain control and restore order.
