Full closure on the Franconian Schnellweg: Deportions due to construction work!

Nürnberg, Deutschland - Important traffic changes are coming on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Service operations in public Nuremberg (Sör) will carry out comprehensive work on supply lines on the Franconian Schnellweg Bridge from 6 a.m. These structural measures require a complete blocking of the lane for the city's traffic. A detour via the southwestern tangent is set up, the road users can avoid the Nuremberg-Hhafen in the direction of wet and depart at the Nuremberg-Hhafen-Ost junction, as on nuernberg.de is reported.

Another significant block is also imminent: From Saturday, August 26, 2023, to Sunday, August 27th, the Autobahn 73 (A73) between the Nuremberg-Halle-Süd junction and the Nuremberg Hall cross is completely closed due to bridge construction work. This work is necessary to replace the outdated bridges from the 1970s, which is why traffic is led to the signposted diversions via Hafenstraße, Frankenschnellweg and Wiener Strasse. According to Infranken.de Nuremberg-Hallen-Ost possible, however, temporary restrictions can be expected during the construction work.

The city of Nuremberg and Sör appeal to road users to adapt to the construction sites and the associated diversions. The aim of this extensive work is to create a modern and safe transport infrastructure for the future, even if this leads to inconvenience in traffic at short notice. However, the complete measures are necessary to ensure security and the flow of traffic in the long term.
