After flooding: 1500 euros for those affected - village festival shows solidarity!
The Stoagriffer Originals, a committed club made of stone grip, have been committed to the community since 1995 more intensively. After the devastating flood disaster in June, which numerous households hit hard, it was quickly clear to the members that the income from this year's village festival should be made available to the survivors. "We want to provide the income of this year's village festival with the floods affected," said Chairman Konstantin Wagner.
Thanks to the generous donations of the visitors and the revenues of the festival, an impressive amount of 1500 euros came together. Of these, 500 euros flow directly into the St. Georg senior and nursing home in Schrobenhausen, while proud 1000 euros will benefit the Caritas Association Neuburg-Schrobenhausen. This support brings direct help for the most severely affected citizens who fight with the consequences of the flood.
Important help for those affected
The joy of the donation is great. Ulrike Eisenberger, who has been the contact in the Caritas Association of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen since October 15, is enthusiastic: "Every euro helps people who are affected by the flood. Because with many households, the full extent only becomes clear when, for example, the insurance only bears a part of the costs." The moving and challenging situations in which many families are in place is dealt with directly.
affected can contact Ulrike Eisenberger at the Caritashaus in Schrobenhausen at any time. An appointment on the phone number (08252) 96 73-175 is possible for support and advice. These help offers are more important than ever to assist people in their need.
