Sparkasse Neu-Ulm: Six years in a row the test winner in the CityContest!

The Sparkasse Neu-Ulm-Illertissen can again look forward to an outstanding performance. In the latest bank test of the Focus Money CityContest, the Sparkasse not only achieved the best overall grade, but also had the victory in various categories several times. This is particularly noteworthy because it is the sixth consecutive award in the private customer category and the seventh in the business customer category.

The Focus Money CityContest has been carried out since 2009, in which the advice and service quality of banks and savings banks in Germany are tested. Standardized test procedures are used here based on a total of 137 criteria for private customers, 161 for business customers and 146 for building finance. These criteria ensure that the test results are consistently understandable and comparable.

A central element of the evaluation is the holistic advice, which is weighted with a share of 75 percent. In particular, customer justice and right to do so are among the most important factors. Testers assess the quality of advice immediately after the conversations based on a detailed questionnaire, which includes various aspects such as the preparation of the contact, the atmosphere of the conversation and the aftercare.

The Sparkasse Neu-Ulm-Illertissen has achieved above-average ratings in almost all categories tested. In the segment of private customers, she took the top of the four tested banks in Neu-Ulm with a total rating of 1.77. For business customers, the Sparkasse was awarded a grade of 1.93 and in the area of construction finance it achieved a record of 1.84.

These continuous success underline the strong position of the Sparkasse Neu-Ulm-Illertissen in the banking market and reflect the commitment that she invests in advising its customers. According to the testers, the customer-to-consultation interaction is also specifically geared towards the needs of customers. This is clearly shown in the individual solutions that are offered and in the clear communication of the advisory offer.

The comprehensive test results and the method of evaluation testify to the effort that the Sparkasse undertakes in order to meet the requirements of its customers. The Sparkasse Neu-Ulm-Illertissen will also endeavor in the future to maintain and further expand its high standards.
