Book parade parade in Ulm: Creephery lantern macadas for the whole family!
On Friday, October 25, 2024, the city center of Ulm dives in eerily beautiful atmosphere in the traditional beet spirits and lantern parade. Organized by Ulmer City Marketing and the Platzgasse district, children are cordially invited to bring their lanterns, lanterns, lanterns, beet spirits or pumpkins to pull together through the picturesque streets that are in the shadow of the cathedral.
The event promises creepy and festive atmosphere-an ideal opportunity to dress up and spend a eerily beautiful evening together with the family. Due to the popularity of this move, it takes place under all weather conditions, so that everyone can certainly look forward to an unforgettable experience.
The process of moving
Meeting point for the event is at 5:30 p.m. on Münsterplatz, where the move is listed by a fanfare corps at 6 p.m. In front of the starting point there is the possibility for costumed children to pick up a traditional meat cheese cheese cheese between 5 and 6 p.m. in front of the Bunk butcher shop in Platzgasse as long as the stock lasts.
The path of the move leads through the Platzgasse, Hintere Rebengasse, Pfauengasse, Dreiköniggasse, Herrenkellergasse and Rabengasse back to Münsterplatz. On the track, the small participants can collect colorful sweets and small surprises in the participating shops. Before the move begins, the children on Münsterplatz receive a bag full of sweets provided by the Ulm City Marketing and the FlorMarkt. You can also take part in a coloring page for the beet spirits, in which great prices such as vouchers from the Bad Blau and the Museum Ravensburger Winken.
At various stations, many shops and restaurants are active to make the small beet spirits happy. For example, Blume2000 energetic sweets, Lush distributed bombs and tea Gschwendner has tea visucers ready. The healthy alternative is also taken care of; Leo’s fruit and vegetable trade offers Clementinen, while the Volksbank Ulm-Biberach eG makes Holz-Jojos and nuts available.
Sandra Walter, the city manager, is enthusiastic and thanks you to all the shops and donors involved. Due to the gratifying rush in recent years, the move starts and ends again at Münsterplatz, which offers the opportunity to spend some time together with mulled wine, punch and grilled.
A note for residents: Between 6 and around 7.30 p.m., the passage in the areas of Platzgasse, Hintere Rebengasse, Pfauengasse, Dreiköniggasse, Herrenkellergasse, Rabengasse and Kohlgasse is not possible due to the move.
A call from CityManager Sandra Walter and Rolf Kneer from Quartier Platzgasse invites everyone: "Grab your lanterns and come to the Ulm city with a child and cone to move through the alleys of Ulm." For all interested parties, the further details can be called up at ulmercity.de.
