Volunteering is celebrated: thousands of tickets for home game!

Ulm, Deutschland - The basketball Bundesliga club Ratiopharm Ulm organizes a spectacular event that is dedicated to volunteers! On January 7, 2025, from 7 p.m. against the Spanish top club from Gran Canaria, and anyone who volunteers has the chance to get a ticket for the home game free of charge. This incredible action is a tribute to the numerous helpers who put their free time in the service of the community!

"Without voluntary work, our daily work on the orange campus would not be conceivable," emphasizes BBU’01 club board member Dr. Thomas Stoll. This event is intended to set a strong sign of the importance of volunteering. Already in the past, the Ulm basketball games experienced an atmosphere that was shaped by gratitude and appreciation - the arena filled three times to the last place! No difference is made this year: volunteers of fire brigade, emergency services, sports clubs and many others are invited to participate and rewarded for their efforts.

Together with partners such as "Committed in Ulm" and the "Neu-Ulm volunteer exchange", an extensive information campaign for volunteering is organized around the matchday.
