A dramatic duel in the world of weightlifting! The 1st AC Weiden had to take a bitter defeat against ESV Munich-Ost last Saturday. Despite the absence of Josephine Köppen and Nicolas Hofman, the Weiden team was able to count on Kerstin Schemmel's strong support. But from the start, the Munichers showed that they were willing to win.

The first half of the competition was a real shock for the Weidener! The hosts put the team under pressure and quickly set up a considerable lead. Although the Weideners had fewer failed attempts, they could not counter the ESV and had to give up the first point in the table before the break. It was a fight in which the Weideners led, led by Johannes Popel, who caught 130 kg in the last shock attempt, and Daniel Pilz, who managed the highest burdens of the encounter with 155 kg.
