Hamlet as a medical training model
What makes Hamlet so special? It is a groundbreaking training model for neurosurgical interventions developed together with the Trier medical campus. The model uses real patient data and expanded technologies such as 3D printing to create realistic surgical simulations. Together with a dedicated team of surgeons and technicians- headed by the students heads of sports and rehabilitation technology as well as mechanical engineering- this concept is constantly optimized in order to convey the necessary tools for their demanding professions.
In the laboratory for digital product development and production (LDPF), creative projects such as Hamlet are continuously created, which not only breastfeed the scientific curiosity, but also dare to jump into the industrial application. The Trier University of Applied Sciences remains a pioneer in the training of the technical youngsters!
