Realignment of psychiatric care in the Munich district!
The psychosocial network in the Munich district has experienced important changes. In his last session, Andreas Ammer, who led the first board for almost a decade, was adopted. Ammer had campaigned intensively to improve psychiatric and addiction -oriented care. With his resignation, Antonie von Mackensen will now hand over the management of the association, while new elections are planned for the next year. As Landkreis-muenchen.de , the PSV plays a central role in the coordination and further development of the supply structure for people with mental illnesses and addiction.
Another focus of the session was the presentation of the action plan for people with disabilities in the district, which is now to be used actively in the working groups of the psychosocial network. Dr. Michael Welschehold and Alexander Fischhold also announced a kick-off event of the newly founded initiative for suicide prevention for the next year, an urgently needed signal for those affected and their relatives. The Upper Bavarian initiative of relatives of mentally ill people has also presented current psychosocial signs that represent an important source of information. The PSV is made up of four sub-work circles that cover topics such as addiction and child and adolescent psychiatry.
New offer for nursing advice
In parallel to the realignment of the psychosocial network, the district of Munich has opened the nursing base in Munich-Riem, which has been the central point of contact for all nursing advice since March 2023. This free offer is also aimed at people with disabilities, regardless of whether they are innate or have arisen from accidents or illnesses. As Taufkirchen-mul.bayern , the nursing point not only offers information on care and services, but also support in applications and the search for suitable help offers.Details | |
