Rosenheim, Deutschland - The Kunstverein Rosenheim becomes the scene of an exciting artistic event! From 16. Until November 24th 2024, the highly expected exhibition "The Noise We Make" will take place, which for the first time presents the creative work of a class of the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. Here visitors can admire the fascinating jewelry and devices that under the direction of Prof. Karen pontoppidan were created.
This exhibition is not only a feast for the eyes, but also an experience for the senses! The concept breaks the silence of the former hydropower plant, in which visitors can hear the hum of the old turbine. The variety of artistic positions from 15 different countries is brought to life by the term “noise”. Despite their different backgrounds, the exhibitors combine the desire to create a dialogue with the guests and the unique premises. The Kunstverein itself becomes part of the work of art!

since 2022 David Clarke , an experienced silversmith and international artist, the artistic profile of Prof. Karen Pontoppidan. Its expertise brings a breath of fresh air to the topics of jewelry and device, which is not separated in this exhibition, but presented as a unit. This innovative approach creates new challenges and tasks for the students and opens doors to creative opportunities!
