The end of an era: cult disco Collage closes forever!

on Sunday, January 10, 2025, the "Collage", the last disco in the Isartal, closed forever. The farewell was celebrated until the early hours of the morning. Daniel Herzhauser, who operated the "Collage" for 14 years, now wants to spend more time with his family. The disco had received guests in Mittenwald for 54 years and was a well -known meeting point for night owls.

Herzhauser plans to concentrate on his family and his full -time job as a train driver. The emotional farewell was particularly for the operator couple because Daniel and his wife Sandra met in the disco. In the region there is no other nightclub anymore, which is disadvantageous in view of the changing out of young adults. Most recently, the "Collage" was only well attended at special events. The final evening of the club included live band, special beverage cards and a well -attended event of the Hüttentourer.

Special memories of the "Collage"

The last evening was special for Herzhauser because he also celebrated his 39th birthday that day. Many old employees and friends came to say goodbye, including a group of train drivers from Munich. DJ Thorsten put on the last songs, including the emotional piece "Happy Ending" by Mika. Many of the visitors flowed tears.

While the "Collage" in Mittenwald is now closing its goals, a general trend of club death in the region is shown. The express goods hall in Schwenningen also had to conclude, which is traced back to health reasons, difficult cooperation with authorities and a changed outgoing behavior. Many clubs in the area experienced similar fates, such as the Delta in Donaueschingen or the fame in rooms, both of which have already closed their doors forever, such as Schwarzwaelder-bote.de reported.
