André Hartmann takes over the management of the legendary laugh and shooting society!

Starnberg, Deutschland - The Starnberger André Hartmann has taken the exciting opportunity to take over the artistic direction of the renowned laugh and shooting company in Munich. A few months ago he was approached by the new management of the stage. "I didn't have to think twice," says the entertainer, who has made a name for himself both as a word joke acrobat and as a voice imitator on the piano. Hartmann, who celebrated his breakthrough at the "Derblecken" on the Nockherberg in 2005, is a confidante figure in the Bavarian cabaret scene.

His first big event in this new role will take place on Tuesday, October 22nd, in the silver hall of the German Theater in Munich. Hartmann will present an "opening package" at this solo show before the Lach and Schießgesellschaft is expected to reopen at the beginning of November with its program after renovations at its old location in Ursulastraße.
"This shop deserves to live on," emphasizes the 48-year-old. In view of the challenges that many cabarets had to master due to the corona pandemic, he sees the revival of the stage as a central task.

take over a large legacy

The management of the laughing and shooting society is a huge challenge for Hartmann. 15 years ago, he had the honor of getting to know the great cabaret artist Dieter Hildebrandt, who was enthusiastic about Hartmann's performances. "It was like a knighthood for me," recalls the artist, who is known for his versatility and talent, various dialects and musical styles.

Hartmann describes his vision for the stage: "Our motto is: politically and socially critical at a high level." He wants to address a younger audience, although this is not the primary target group. It is important to him that the visitors "take something from the evening", not just the applause. This approach is reflected in his previous work and will also take a central place in the new role.

Although Hartmann has been living in Munich for two decades, his heart remains for Starnberg, where he grew up and has graduated from high school. He also continues to actively get involved in the region: he participates in the gospel choir in Söcking and supports benefit concerts whose proceeds will benefit the Nepalhilfe, which he himself founded in Starnberg 27 years ago.

As far as Hartmann's sources of inspiration is concerned, he remains modest. "I don't want to commit myself," he says. However, he confesses that he is characterized by Loriot and his subtle humor. Hape Kerkeling, known for his diverse roles and his charming way of transformation, is also one of his role models. With a lot of passion, he plans to refresh the program of the Lach- und Schießgesellschaft and to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the institution in two years with creative ideas.

As part of his personal commitment, Hartmann will appear at the Hotel Seehof in Herrsching next Friday with his show "Radio-Aktiv". He is accompanied by Michael Ponert, a talented guitarist and songwriter from Munich. The fans can look forward to an entertaining evening that reflects the creative essence of the entertainer.

These exciting developments around the laughing and shooting society leave space for optimism in the Munich cabaret landscape. Hartmann's approach and his passionate connection to art promise a lively future for the stage, which is deeply rooted in Bavarian culture, and takes up an important place in public life.
