But the art museum had to deal with challenges from the start. Critics complained that it was too elitist and difficult to access. Müller-Nittel emphasizes that the realignment is due to the original order to make the Mildenburg accessible and attractive for everyone. The redesign takes place over four construction phases in the next three years. On the ground floor, the city history comes to life by the Romans to modern times.
