New teacher reception in Gmund: Miesbach celebrates committed educators!
Around thirty new teachers started their service at primary and middle schools in the Miesbach district and were received in a festive setting at the Gmund primary school. This occasion was duly recognized by District Administrator Olaf von Löwis and other representatives of the district.
As part of the event, Löwis emphasized how important the teaching profession is and encouraged the new educators to use the advanced technical aids in the region. However, the district administrator made a little joke when he asked the teachers present to show creativity and personal responsibility in their teaching preparation and not exclusively use AI-based tools such as Chatgpt.GMUND Mayor Alfons Besel welcomed the new colleagues and emphasized that they were now part of a municipal family. Education is a common goal that is also supported by the town halls. Besel praised the commitment of the teachers and the important contribution they make to the development of the children.
The school office director Jürgen Heiß also said positively and noted that the new teachers represent a valuable addition to the existing system. A healthy school structure and good school offers are essential in order to optimally prepare young people in the district for the professional future.
Heih made it clear that despite a slight improvement in teacher care, the new forces are a "rare species", which underlines the importance of their role. He encouraged those present not to believe in himself and not to give up even in challenging times.
Markus Schäffner, the chairman of the staff council, joined the good wishes and rounded off the reception with an informal celebration in which the new ones were initiated with sparkling wine and small snacks. This welcome ceremony should not only be a recognition for the new challenge, but also serve as a Motivation for the coming months in which the new teaching staff will exert its influence in the classrooms.
Through support and a positive attitude on the part of the municipality and the school administration, one hopes for a successful integration of the new teachers into the existing school system, which is characterized by diversity and commitment. Optimally, this development will not only improve the school climate, but also the educational opportunities of the students.
