Annual concert: Women's power in the music conquered Marktheidenfeld!
A top -class musical spectacle is imminent! On December 29th at 5 p.m., the St. Josefskirche in Marktheidenfeld becomes the scene of an impressive annual concert of the Catholic cantore. Advance ticket sales have already started and the anticipation for an extraordinary program is huge!
The focus of the concert is works by composers who have shaped over 250 years of history. The highlight of the evening is the "Oratorium according to pictures of the Bible" by Fanny Cecile Hensel, the talented sister of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. This large -scale, eight -tuned masterpiece is equivalent to the famous compositions of Mendelssohn such as "Paulus" and "Elias". In addition, works by the Haydn student Marianna Martines, often referred to as a "female Mozart", as well as from Emilia Mayer, who is considered a "female Beethoven". Another highlight are two scenes from the almost unknown work "Ruth" by Le Beau, which is enchanted with its magical harp sounds and pastoral melodies.an ensemble of superlative
An almost hundred -headed ensemble will enter the stage! With a large choir, eight soloists and an almost 50-member orchestra, the concert becomes an unforgettable experience. The organizers invite all lovers of Mozart, Mendelssohn and Beethoven to give the great composers of the past 250 years a chance. In addition, the second piano concert by Laetitia Hahn, a former child prodigy, is presented as a premiere. Together with her brother Philip, she will bring the concert in Marktheidenfeld to life.
