Federal Police Lindau: E-scooter attached, migrant back home!
Federal Police Lindau: E-scooter attached, migrant back home!
At the weekend, the federal police became active at Lindau-Reutin train station and caught two presumably struck migrants. These two young men, 21 and 22 years old, came from Bregenz, but without valid ID. The 21-year-old had a Turkish ID with him, while his companion could only show a cell phone photo of his passport. The two stated that they had paid several thousand euros for their smuggling and received their train tickets from an unknown mastermind. The federal police are now investigating foreigners.
The situation escalated for the 21-year-old, who had to deposit a security deposit of 150 euros for the return costs. On Sunday afternoon he was sent back to Turkey directly from Munich Airport. His accomplice was brought to the Anker Center Augsburg on Sunday morning, where he has to wait for further measures.
search success in Greek travelers
But that wasn't all! On Sunday evening, a federal police patrol came across a Greek traveler who lives in Bregenz. The search computer immediately raised the alarm during the check. The man had been looking for a year because of the procurement of false official ID cards. A court in Memmingen had issued a garnishment order of 3,300 euros against him. Since he had no cash with him, the officers confiscated his e-scooter and charger worth around 500 euros. After documenting his Austrian registration address, however, the Greek was allowed to travel.
