Landsberg swimmers clear out at championships: gold and podium!

In an impressive competition, the swimmers of SC Lechfeld showed shiny performances at the Upper Bavarian Championships in Swimming. While a small group of athletes qualified for the short railway championships, some members remained due to illness. Nevertheless, the three participants, Malisa Janicki, Denis Sczesny and Jonah Munday, bravely prevailed against the great competition from Upper Bavaria and returned with outstanding results.

The championships took place in Holzkirchen and the athletes were determined to do their best. Malisa Janicki (born 2010) demonstrated her skills by reaching excellent placements with three silver and bronze medal, despite a two-month competition break. Denis Sczesny, born in 2003, inspired with his appearance on the "100 meter breast" route and was able to look forward to the championship title. The performance of Jonah Munday (born in 2011), who not only won the gold medal on his special discipline "50 meter breast", was also particularly outstanding. Through this success he is now one of the best in Bavaria and has the chance to qualify for the German vintage championships.
