Landsberg starts Christmas wish campaign: Help!
Landsberg am Lech, Deutschland - The anticipation for Christmas is increasing in Landsberg am Lech! The city has launched its popular Christmas wish campaign, which was launched two years ago. This year, a ray of hope for children, adolescents, families and seniors is to be created again from financially weaker households. Mayor Doris Baumgartl is enthusiastic: "I have been overwhelmed by the enormous willingness to donate in the past two years, but also touched by the wishes."
This is how the campaign works: Desired hearts can now be filled out in the citizens' office on Katharinenstrasse, from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The hearts that contain the desire, age and first names or gender are limited to a maximum of 30 euros. These hearts were also distributed directly in schools, retirement homes and social institutions to ensure that everyone has the chance to express a wish. The desired tree will be set up in the courtyard of the historic town hall from Friday, November 8, 2024, ready for the wishes of the Landsberger!
become a sponsor!
Now the exciting part comes! Anyone who wants to become a sponsor can simply take one or more hearts from the desired tree, get the wishes, pack it for Christmas and hand it over to the tourist information until December 13, 2024. "This campaign by Landsbergers for Landsberger at Christmas is great and shows that we are there for each other," says Baumgartl. Even more hearts were provided for this year's campaign to meet the great demand.
The gifts can then be picked up in the tourist information from December 18 to 2024. Those who cannot do it to pick up their gift has time until January 12, before the gifts that have not been picked up are passed on to a charitable institution in Landsberg. The city administration takes over the distribution of gifts in schools and social institutions. A truly festive spirit blows through Landsberg am Lech!
